Do I need a deposit/retainer to rent an item?
A 50% Retainer is required to hold rental items and event dates. The retainer will be applied to the final bill and the balance is due 7 days prior to delivery or pickup date. ANY RETAINER PAID IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Payments can be made cash, card, check, and/or ACH.
What is your policy for damaged items?
Customers are responsible for all losses or damages to the equipment from the time of delivery until picked up by our staff or picked up and returned by the customer.
I'm I able to make any changes to my invoice after I have paid?
Yes. You can add or remove items from your order up until 14 days before your scheduled delivery or pickup!
When should I expect my delivery?
We typically deliver Thursday-Friday for weekend events and begin pickups on Monday-Tuesday depending on the routes. If your event is at a venue we deliver and pick up the same day/night of the event. There is an additional charge for late night deliveries or pick ups.
Is there a delivery fee?
The delivery fee is based on the distance, delivery and pick up times.
Can I pick up the rentals from the warehouse?
Yes. The majority of our rental items are available for in store pickup. However, please be advised that tents, inflatables, and some other items are not eligible for pickup due to liability purposes. Customers are required to bring a vehicle large enough to transport the rental items. All rental items must fit securely in their vehicle and should be protected from inclement weather at all times.
What happens if I need to cancel the event?
You can cancel the event up to 14 days prior your event, however the 50% retainer fee is NOT REFUNDABLE, if you cancel 7 days prior your event 100% of the payment is forfeited. Remember, we have been holding the items for your event and have lost the opportunity to rent to other clients. There are no refunds on custom order items or items delivered but not used.
Do you setup and breakdown the rentals when you deliver?
We do set up our tents, dance floors, staging, and inflatables. Other rentals like linens, tables, and chairs and others. are to be set up by the customer, unless a setup and breakdown service is requested for an additional fee.
Is Eventive Rentals and Decor insured?
Yes, our liability insurance is offered for all rentals. If you require a certificate of insurance, please email us your requirements at least 7 business days before your event.
